Responsibility

Planet
& People.

The gear we make has a footprint. So does the way we make it. This page is where we keep our commitments to the planet and to every person in our supply chain, in plain language.

Some of this is done. Some of it isn't yet. We'd rather show you both than pretend.

Planet

IF WE RIDE THERE. WE LOOK AFTER IT.

Five sectors, five places that won't be there to ride if nobody looks after them. These are the standards every HORNGRY event is held to.

Street

Spots get lost when riders leave a mess and councils lose patience.

Every HORNGRY street session ends with the crew clearing the spot before anyone leaves.

Ocean

No waves without a clean ocean.

Every HORNGRY surf event starts with a beach clean before the first rider paddles out.

Dirt

Trails exist because landowners let us ride them.

We only ride trails with the landowner's permission, and every trail day leaves the line in better shape than we found it.

Snow

The mountain is the first place to show what a warmer world costs.

We organise shared transport to every snow event, so fifty riders don't mean fifty cars.

Sky

Airspace and landing areas have rules for a reason.

We only work with licensed drop zones, and we never fly or land on protected land.

BEHIND THE LENS

Our behind the scenes filmers, photographers, artists, and creators adhere to HORNGRY's take care standards. Whether shooting a street clip or building a feature, every contributor protects the spot.

Gear

Built to last, not to landfill.

No vague words. Here's what's in each piece and where it's made. If we can't tell you yet, the table says so.

Smaller runs

Limited drops mean less waste. We make what the community actually wants instead of guessing and discounting the rest.

Supply chain

Fair pay. Safe work. Proof, not promises.

Modern Slavery Statement

HORNGRY is below the size where UK and Australian law requires a modern slavery statement. We're publishing one anyway, because we don't want our gear made by anyone who can't walk away from the job.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Every factory we work with signs it. It covers wages, hours, safety, freedom to join a union, and no child or forced labour.

Work in our supply chain, or know something we should? Tell us at ethics@horngry.net. You don't have to give your name.

Community

You belong because you showed up.

  • Open to every rider aged 16 and up. No gear requirement. No follower count. No postcode.

  • Under-18s come first. Protected accounts, no adult messaging, and a named safeguarding lead. Our safeguarding policy

  • Your attention isn't for sale. We never sell your attention to advertisers and we never design for endless scrolling.

  • Your data isn't for sale. We don't sell member data to anyone, ever.

  • Your riding is your work. When a brand uses a member's clip or photo, that member is credited and paid.

Lines we don't cross

What we won't do.

  • 01Call anything "eco-friendly", "green" or "sustainable" without telling you exactly why.
  • 02Call ourselves carbon neutral by buying offsets.
  • 03Overproduce, then dump the rest in a sale.
  • 04Partner with gambling, alcohol, vaping or tobacco brands.
  • 05Work with a factory that won't let us see inside.

The Bigger Picture

Every purchase builds the home.

Ethical gear is only half the story. Every purchase also supports The Foundation, our mission to open access to sport for the people locked out by cost or circumstance.
